I started OMF a couple of weeks ago, at my all time low. I have put on 2 stone since being furloughed and for the first time in a very long time I feel alive again. It's hard work but totally worth it, everyone at OMF instructors and attendees are Soo nice and encouraging don't get me wrong it's not a walk in the park for someone like me who is unfit but i get more out of this class then I did the personal trainer at the gym (when it was open). I joined OMF over 5 years ago, I had had 3 children in 3 years. I was overweight and very very unfit! I signed up for a Tough mudder event, OMF was the perfect training and I quickly got the bug! The sessions are always a great mixture of different exercises that push you to do your best. The bib system is a good way of ensuring that you work at your own level and good motivation too. The instructors are great at motivating you to push yourself, there’s never any shouting, just some really bad jokes! I have always found it really friendly and have made some really good friends. Since joining I’ve completed lots of 10k and half marathon races and I’m in training for the London marathon. If I hadn’t have found OMF I would never have done any of these things or been as happy as I am now. Thanks OMF!

My only regret about OMF is not joining up sooner, they make getting fit so much fun. So what are you waiting for? Get into shape, have fun and meet some amazing new friends

OMF has changed my life in so many ways. To try and cut a long story short, I broke my back in 2012 and I had a slow recovery process. The Doctors said the best thing I can do is exercise in order to keep my muscle strong. I was bored at the gym as no one talked, there was way too many mirrors and no fresh air. Drinking in the Tavern one day I noticed a group of people exercising outside, I spoke to Instructor Liam and the very next morning I was at a class. The Instructors & everyone else at the class instantly made me feel at ease. They also gave me a healthy balance of pushing me but also understanding my limitations. Not only has it kept me fit, I have re-aquanited with old friends, made new friends, gained a job, cycled from Boston to New York, completed 3 mud runs, ran the Great South Run, ran the Worthing Half and i'm currently in training for the Brighton Marathon. Life's for living guys and OMF has certainly helped me do that.

If you are put off by coming to OMF because you are not fit enough or have too much weight to lose, don’t be! I am about 8 stone overweight, and I may not be able to keep up with everyone else at the moment but in the 4 months that I have been going regularly I have made a lot of progress and Liam will always come up with an alternative exercise for me, squats instead of burpees, walk instead of run and build up from there.

I would recommend anyone of any age or fitness level to try OMF even for one class as you have nothing to loose - as it only takes one visit and you will be under the OMF spell and you will want to return every week thereafter.

I definitely questioned my sanity 1 year ago but I am so glad I took the leap.....12 months (and a whole heap of swearing) later I have lost 2.5 stone and nearly 7" from my waist, I have completed my first Park Run, my first Mud Run, my first Ultra Challenge (100km walk) and my first jump (well, shove) off a tall building....and have met some of the most friendly and encouraging people you could ever hope to meet. So a massive thanks to Instructor Liam Omf, Instructor Steve W and all the OMFers too numerous to mention, because without all the instruction, the advice, the motivation, the support and the laughter you guys have given, I wouldn't have done it. Did anyone mention OMF and life changing?
